Frederick J. Paul, Sr.

Frederick J. Paul, Sr., 71, of Sioux City, formerly of Washington State, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Fred was born the son of Clarence and Eleanor (Jensen) Paul on July 28, 1943 in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended St. Boniface schools. Fred moved to Washington State in 1978 where he lived until moving back to Sioux City in August of 2014. Fred did factory and roofing work. He enjoyed fishing, cars, being outdoors, and listening to music. Fred is survived by one son, Frederick (Rae) Renzelman of Omaha, Nebraska; four daughters, Theresa (Brad) Keuck of Sioux City, Margaret Renzelman of Sioux City, Colleen McCallister of Sloan, and Becky Paul of Washington State; two brothers, Robert (Gert) Paul of Sioux City and Charlie (Marty) Paul of Sioux City; two sisters, Marie Schonfeltd of Arkansas and Barbara Goshe of Sioux City; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Paul.
