June H. Watts, 86 of Sioux City, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Touchstone Living Center. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Floyd E. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with family present at 6:00 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. June was born on May 18, 1928 in South Sioux City, Nebraska to Walter and Edna (Sadler) Hall. She received her education in the South Sioux City Public Schools and Western Iowa Technical School in 1969. June resided in Sioux City her entire adult life. She worked at the Downtown Cleaners and ended her career at Juvenile Counseling. June also worked part-time at Thompson Drug Store. June was proud member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Usher Board. June is survived by her daughters Charmaine (Brad) Benson of Gardner, KS and Teri (Kevin) Brown of Killeen, TX, and son Jerome Watts of Ft. Madison, IA; four grandchildren Steven (Stacey) Evans, Shannon Jenkins, Taryn (James) Reyes, and Taryce Brown; four great-grandchildren Stephanie Evans, Kelsey Evans, Kaden Evans, and Kyan Evans; sisters Delores (Hayes) Hall and Joann (Joe) Long; brother Donald (Lori) Hall, and numerous nephews and nieces. June was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Bizzett and brothers Kenneth Hall and Jack Hall. Casketbearers will be Deacons of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Honorary Casketbearers will be Brad Benson, Kevin Brown, Steven Evans, Shannon Jenkins, Russell Bizzett, and James Reyes.
