Inez Marie Dougherty

Inez Marie Dougherty, 94, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2014 at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Barker Township Cemetery in Bloomfield, IA. Inez was born in Stiles, IA in 1919. She came to Sioux City in 1953 with her husband, Elbert and son Stephen. Elbert pastored The Church of The Open Bible for 30 years, before retiring in 1982. Inez was fully accredited minister with Open Bible Churches. Inez is survived by her brother Russell Gordy of Mt. Sterling, IA and her son Stephen of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
