Linda K. Foster, 64 of Sioux City, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her residence comforted by family. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ with Reverend Dan Lozer officiating. Visitation will be this evening, Thursday, July 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with family present at 6:00 p.m. and a Prayer Service and Order of Eastern Star Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be made online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Linda was born on January 4, 1950 in Sioux City to John M. and Janice L. (Wallen) Moore. She received her education in the Sioux City Public Schools. Linda married Dennis Tom Foster on Sept. 11, 1967 in Sioux City, Iowa. He died Oct. 3, 1998 in Sioux Falls, SD. Linda was a lifelong Sioux City resident except for residing in Italy from 1967-69 then in Council Bluffs, IA from 1969-71. She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church and Silver Azure Chapter No. 548 of the Order of Eastern Star. Linda enjoyed playing cards with her family and her Eastern Star sisters. Survivors include a son and his wife, Dennis Jr. & Dawn Foster of Sioux Falls, SD; granddaughter, Ashley (Tommy) Glosser and their children, Brooklyn, Zoey and Skyelyn; grandson, Andrew Foster of South Dakota; granddaughter, Brittany (Scott) Hopkins and their daughter Paizley of Alabama; a daughter, Karen Loeb; grandson, Gunner Wateland, granddaughter, Kimberly Wateland; great-granddaughter Aspen Moore all of Sioux City; 9 siblings, Jim (Judy) Moore, Jackie (Allen) Olsterholt, Bob (Vicky) Iverson, Betty (George) Leckband, Tom (Cindy) Moore, Penny Noble (special friend, John Treglia), Jerry (Rhonda) Moore, Kathy Moore and Tim (Deb) Iverson all of Sioux City; special friends, Edith Barnett and her children, Warren, Emanuel, Ronald, Kevin and Billy Barnett and Roger and Robin DeVries; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Moore, mother, Janice Iverson, step-father, Jens Iverson, brother and wife, Bob and Gloria Moore, sister and husband, Sandy and Gary Dickman and her husband, Dennis Foster, Sr.
