Clarine D. Mehlhaff, 77, of Sioux City passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday July 1, 2014. Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday July 7, 2014 at Morningside Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darren Vick officiating Visitation will be Sunday July 6, 2014 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 till 8 p.m. and prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Clarine was born February 20, 1937 in Freeman South Dakota the daughter of Clarence and Adina (Gross) Pullman. She attended and graduated from Freeman High School the class of 1956. She married Howard Mehlhaff September 16, 1956 they were married for 50 years he preceded her in death January of 2007. Mrs. Mehlhaff was a homemaker and seamstress for Aalf manufacturing in Sioux City where she retired in 1999. Clarine enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and Great grandchildren. She loved reading and cooking for her family. Clarine was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church. She is survived by two sons; Michael Mehlhaff and his wife Lori of Sioux City and Kevin Mehlhaff of Louisville Ky. One daughter Karen Tobin; and her husband Gene of Sioux City. One brother; Larry Pullman of Bridgewater South Dakota, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one infant child. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland
