Donald W. Wilmot

Donald W. Wilmot, 70 of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at a Sioux City hospital. Don will be cremated and there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Don was born June 21, 1943 in Sioux City; he was the son of Wallace and Phyllis (Hahn) Wilmot. Don served in the U.S. Navy. Don worked for Covington Golf Course and then retired from the Burlington-Northern Railroad. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and his cat, Sammy. Survivors include his wife: Mary Thompson of Sioux City, 2 brothers: Louie Wilmot of Sioux City and Dick Wilmot of Florida Don was preceded in death by his parents and his sister in law: Karen Wilmot.
