Please note services are at Meyer Brothers MORNINGSIDE Chapel not Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel Darrell W. Zentz, 61, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. He worked for many years in the maintenance department for IBP. He was married to Linda Earley on December 31, 1972 in Sioux City. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and loved taking them to car shows. He enjoyed spending time driving his cars, hotrods and motorcycles. He is survived by his wife Linda Zentz; son Brian Zentz; daughter Nichole (Jerardo) Cruz; 5 grandchildren Max and Dalton Zentz; Chance, Cristian and Caleb Cruz; brother Kenny (Rosie) Zentz; sisters Sharon (Andy) Beamon and Rita (Mark) Michaelson all of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry Zentz.
