Arden R. Seibold, 77, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family and favorite 3 companions CB, Baby and Captain in Sioux City. Visitation will be on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 4 - 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Private family burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arden was born on May 14, 1936 in Sioux City to George and Myrna Nadine (Kenny) Seibold. He joined the U.S. Marines Corp. in 1953 serving overseas during the Korean War. He was discharged in 1956. He was united in Marriage to Florene Burns on May 2, 1959 in Mapleton, IA, she preceded him in death on July 10, 2004 in Sioux City. He was a driver for Standard Ready-Mix and drove School Bus for Sioux City Schools. Arden enjoyed NASCAR, gardening and yard work, as well as lending a hand to his neighbors' yard work as well. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved and was very dedicated to his dogs. He is survived by his 5 daughters, Bonnie (Alan) Whitlock of Sioux City; Vicki Patterson of Sioux City; Lonnie (Brian) Hill of Sioux City; Tammi (Larry) Seibold-Schmitz of Sioux City; and Candi (Chad) Muecke of Hinton; 2 brothers Ronald (Joyce) Seibold; David Seibold; 3 sisters Sylvia Fuller; Rose Barnes and Sharon Seibold Saul all of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren Siera, Craig (Mary), Crystal, Alex, Aubrey, Colby, Will, Trevor, Tanner, Tucker, Meridian, Armani, Kylie, Seth, Trey, Trent, Kenadi, and Addi; and 3 great grandchildren and 2 son in laws at heart, Scott March of Sioux City and Robert Butler of Spink, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florene "Flo" Seibold, 2 brothers Bob and Don and a sister Barb.
