Craig Charles Cain, 58, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at his residence of natural causes. A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Logan Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Craig was born the son of Harold and Margaret (Clark) Cain on May 14, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from North High School. He attended Western Iowa Tech and the University of Kansas for one year. Later Craig returned to college, earning a nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse for the remainder of his life, specializing in mental and behavioral health nursing for over 25 years. He lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area for the majority of his adult life. Craig worked at the Research Psychiatric Center as the House Supervisor. Craig enjoyed all types of movies, especially the old classics. He also enjoyed all types of sports and was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the University of Missouri Tigers football team. Craig owned and liked shopping for antiques of all types in which he said he learned to enjoy and appreciate from spending time at his Grandmother's home as a young boy. Craig is survived by one brother, Ernie (Debie) Cain of Sioux City; one daughter, Maggie; and three grandsons, Zackary, Maxton, and Benji all of Moville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael.
