Lawrence Darrell

Lawrence Darrell, 86, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Sunrise Retirement Community. Per his wishes his body will be cremated. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Sunrise Retirement Community. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. He was self employed as an Astrologist. Lawrence was united in marriage in Chicago, IL to Eleanor Lang who is a 4th generation pioneer family. The couple later relocated to Sioux City in the 1990's. Besides Astrology, Lawrence enjoyed writing poetry and even had his poems published in a book. He was also an avid reader. He was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Darrell of Sioux City and numerous friends.
