SIOUX CITY | Deloris Irene Bradstreet, 87, of Sioux City, died Saturday, Mar. 1, 2014 in the hospice unit at Touchstone Living Center after a brief illness Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 5, 2014 at Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. James Travis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is handling arrangements. Deloris was born Oct. 11, 1926 in Sioux City the daughter of Russell and Anna (Schwesinger) Bradstreet. She graduated from Leeds High School and was a lifelong resident of Leeds. Deloris had a long career at Albertson's/Sioux Tools where she retired as office manager. Deloris enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her friends. She also enjoyed walking, bowling, having fun and following sports. She was a former member of Quota Club of Sioux City. She was a active member of Calvary Lutheran Church since 1934. Deloris served on the church's Outreach Board, Picnic Committee and the ladies circle. She also taught Sunday School. Survivors include her brother, Robert (Jackie) Bradstreet of Tomball, TX; a sister-in-law, Ruth Bradstreet of Sioux City; nieces, Christi Bowsher and Dawn Cruz of Tomball, TX; nephews, Larry (Sandra) Bradstreet of Sioux City and Garry Bradstreet of Kansas City, KS; and a niece-in-law, Andrea Bradstreet of Fort Collins, CO.
