Beulah Bernice Brown, 90, of North Sioux City, SD passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City, IA with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. and a vigil service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Beulah was born on March 16, 1923, the youngest of 18 children, in Jefferson, SD to Felix and Leah (LaJesse) Girard. She was a married to Darrel Brown on April 25, 1964 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Jefferson, SD. In her younger years she worked many occupations. In her later years after retirement she enjoyed life. She enjoyed attending all her grandchildren's ball games and activities. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and doing crocheting and embroidery work for her family. Of all the things she enjoyed doing in life; she had a deep love of her family. She is survived by her husband Darrel Brown of North Sioux City, SD; 4 daughters Nannette Beaver of South Sioux City, NE; Nola (Ray) Christiansen of Sioux City; Karen Tullis and significant other Rocky Nagel of Jackson, NE; and Bonnie Clay of South Sioux City, NE; adopted daughter Brenda (Jose) Flores of South Sioux City, NE; daughter in law Melody (Gary) Molacek of Omaha, NE; 17 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and 28 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 17 siblings, son Kenneth Clay, and grandsons Ronnie Bell and Joshua Beavers.
