Janet K. Reynolds

Janet K. Reynolds, 71, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation with the family present will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Janet was born November 21, 1942 in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry and Helen (Healey) Remington. She married Nels Reynolds on September 1, 1972 in Sioux City. Janet enjoyed reading and collecting postcards and Avon products. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews and loved receiving pictures of them and spending time with her family. She also loved her dogs Goldie and Dixie. She was a supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness. Survivors include her husband Nels Reynolds, Nieces: Lorri (Patrick) Walker and Judy (Perry) Boulware; Great Nephews: Rick Remington, Jeremy and Cody Boulware, and Justin Walker; Great Niece: Bobbi Walker; Mother in law: Kathleen Walker; Brother in law: Frank Nimmer; Sisters in law: Nancy Remington, Phyllis Reynolds, and Debbie Anderson; and several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Richard Remington.
