Mary Ann Tweet

Mary Ann Tweet, 82, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at her residence after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Mary Ann Johns was born March 11, 1931 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Ernest J. Tweet on July 7, 1951 in Sioux City. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Ernest (Gretchen) Tweet of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Alana Tweet, Eric (Peggy) Tweet, and Lisa Tweet all of Sioux City, Iowa; one sister, Juanita Jones of Sioux City, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kara, Joe, Aaron, and Kelsey Tweet, Zachary (Brittany) Berndt, and Tiffany (James) Santee; and ten great-grandchildren, Taylor, Landon, Braxton, Brennan, Marshal, Willow, Zaylie, Caylyx, Evan, and Noah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Tweet; mother, Edith Johns and one brother, Paul Johns.
