SIOUX CITY | Kristen Amy Considine, 31, of Minneapolis, Minn. and formerly of Sioux City, passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at her residence. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. David Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Kristen was born Dec. 1, 1982 in Sioux City the daughter of V. Thomas and Rebecca (Brennan) Considine. She attended St. Michael Parochial Grade School and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 2001. She attended the University of Iowa and then moved to Minneapolis, where she was employed by Bremer Bank. Kristen enjoyed participating in large group speech, improvisation and show choir. She was a gifted writer, loved to read, and had an ability to make anyone laugh. She had a very sharp wit and particularly enjoyed British comedy. Survivors include her mother, Patty Considine and Bob McClintock of Sioux City; a sister, Kelly Considine of Minneapolis; 2 brothers, Michael Considine of Iowa City and Tyler McClintock of Sioux City; paternal grandmother, Marian "Grammy" Considine of Sergeant Bluff, IA; maternal grandmother, Ellen Klaschen of Kingsley, IA; aunts, Kathy Considine and Barb Considine; uncles, Bob Considine and Pat Considine and his wife Jill; many other aunts, uncles and cousins; and special family friends, Tom and Teri Line. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Considine, her mother, Rebecca Considine, paternal grandfather, Virgil Considine and maternal grandfather, Donald Klaschen. Memorials may be made in her name to The Queen of Peace or to Bishop Heelan High School's Fine Arts Department.
