Marjorie F. (Henry) Magnuson, 74 of Sioux City, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Hallmark Care Center, comforted by family. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2013 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Deacon Patricia Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and will continue until time of the service Saturday. A Prayer Service will begin this evening at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements. Marjorie was born on October 15, 1939 in rural Lindy, Nebraska to Lyle and Philomine Henry Sr. She married Raymond H. Magnuson Jr. and enjoyed 30 years before the couple divorced. She owned numerous properties in Sioux City, and for a career, Marjorie worked for Siouxland Paramedics Specialty Services Transportation. She loved to sing and cook. Marjorie will be remembered as a fun-loving, caring person, a loyal friend, faithful Christian, and a loving mother and grandma. She constantly worried about those around her, wanting to make sure everyone had what they needed. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Lisa Estevez and Susan Vega of Sioux City; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Winona Schultz of Blunt, SD, Henrietta Paulsen and Janice Clancy of Sioux City; Rose Owings of South Sioux City, and Velma Wagner of Washington state; brothers Lyle Henry Jr., Robert Henry Sr., and Roger Henry, all of Sioux City, and John Henry of California; many nieces and nephews; and many life-long friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by parents, daughter Robin Rene and brother Anthony Henry. Casket Bearers for the service will be John Paulsen, Jackie Paulsen, Robert "Scotty" Clancy Jr., Troy Henry, Lyle Henry III, and Brian Schultz. Honorary Bearers will be Enrique Vega Jr., David Vega, Jose Magnuson, and Mark Durio.
