Clinton D. "Pat" Bogue, 91, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at a local hospital. Memorial and Masonic services will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Kristine Frank officiating. Private family burial with military honors will be at Logan Park Cemetery. Pat was born the son of Mark and Luella Bogue on November 19, 1922 in Eldora, Iowa where he received his education and graduated from high school. After his military service, Pat moved to Sioux City where he married Laura Riedesel on May 12, 1943. They later divorced. Pat moved to Denver, Colorado in 1955 where he lived until he returned to remarry Laura in 2000. Pat worked as a superintendent for Olsen Construction in Denver, Colorado from 1958 until his retirement in the 1990s. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a good carpenter who liked fixing things. Pat honorably served his country in the United States Navy, enlisting the day after Pearl Harbor and receiving a medical discharge one year later. Pat was a member of the Masonic Lodge Landmark Lodge #103. Pat is survived by his wife, Laura of Sioux City; two sons, David (Shannon) Bogue of Clarion, Pennsylvania and Scott (Cindy) Smith of North Sioux City, South Dakota; two daughters, Janice (Rodney) Lundy of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Marsha Tucker of Sioux City, Iowa; one brother, John (Annette) Ellison of Rapid City, South Dakota; 7 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, James and Stephen; one brother, Lawrence; and one sister, Beulah. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Masonic Lodge Landmark Lodge #103.
