Robert W. Eaton, 82, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his residence. Abiding by his wishes, his body will be cremated and there will be no services. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com Robert was born on July 31, 1931 in Sioux City to Leona (Wagner) Flaa. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Betty J. Garvey in 1954 in Sioux City. He worked for 21 years at Raskins Packing Company and 16 years for John Morrell. Robert enjoyed walking, exercising, yard work, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered for his comical sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Betty Eaton of Sioux City; daughter Brenda (Alan) Rowley of Sioux City; and 2 grandchildren Briealee (Jose) Delao of South Sioux City, NE; and Shawn Eaton of Sioux City. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, step father Elvin Flaa, a brother and 2 sons Mike and Steven.
