Susan Frerichs-Zuraff

Susan Frerichs-Zuraff, 59, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at a Sioux City Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date. Susan was born on July 20, 1954 in Sioux City to Arnold Norman and Jeanne Delores (Cronan) Frerichs. She attended Sioux City Schools. She was a chef for numerous restaurants around Sioux City. Susan enjoyed spending time at home with her sole mate Larry watching Law and Order and Special Victims Unit. (The T.V. channel hasn't been changed for 5 years.) Susan was diehard Elvis Presley fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her close friends Rhonda Spencer, Rhonda Bahr, Judy Roback, and Rick & Jeannie Deitches among many other friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially 31 and video poker games. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched. Susan never knew a stranger, and everyone knew that her door was always open to whoever needed it. Susan is survived by sole mate of 15 years Larry Nicolls of Sioux City; special son Christian Dean Bowder of Sioux City; brothers Timothy (Janie) Frerichs of El Paso, TX; Richard A. (Terri) Frerichs of Augusta, GA and one granddaughter Chloe Brinkerhoff of Texas. She was preceded by her parents and a son Daniel Joseph Frerichs-Brinkerhoff.
