Rebecca M. Cullen, 53, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Michael Erpelding officiating. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Rebecca was born the daughter of William and Juanita (Bradshaw) Cullen on September 5, 1960 in Sioux City. She received her education in the Sioux City schools and graduated from Heelan High School. Rebecca worked at Sooz's Saloon for several years. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was an Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed watching Pitbulls and Parolees on T.V. Rebecca was always willing to help a person in need and treated her son's friends as her own. Rebecca is survived by her mother, Juanita Cullen of Sioux City, Iowa; two sons, Kelly Monell and his fiancé Shana Barbee and Jake Monell both of Sioux City, Iowa; one brother, Kelly (Ginny) Cullen of Savage, Minnesota; one sister, Linda (Kevin) Anderson of Sioux City, Iowa; two nephews, Ben (Brooke) Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska and Conor Cullen of Savage, Minnesota; two nieces, Dawn and Heather Anderson of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Jaydan Rae, Honesty, Ty, and Kelly Jr.; and close family friend, Cody Matney of Sioux City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, William.
