Randall "Randy" G. Berg, 64, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence surrounded by family. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. There will be a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Chaplain Stacey Gerhart officiating with visitation one hour prior to service time. His final resting place will be at a later date in Minnesota. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Randy was united in marriage to Bonnie Gerber on March 2, 1974 in West Bend, IA. He owned and operated his own trucking business, he was leased to Norseman Special Division. Randy enjoyed spending time at his second home in Minnesota where he loved to fish and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In his free time he enjoyed reading and watching movies. He was a lifetime member of OEIDA. Left to cherish his memories is his wife Bonnie Berg of Sioux City; son Jarrad (Andrea) Berg of Broomfield, CO; daughter Jodi (Kevin, Jr.) Netley of Akron; 4 grandchildren Hailey and Kaden Netley of Akron and Devin and Greyson Berg of Broomfield, CO; mother Beverly Koster of Omaha, NE; step mother Monica Berg of Fairfield Bay, AK; sister Renae (Phil) Braughton of Omaha, NE; step siblings Robin (Khris) Berg of Fredericksberg, WV; Shane (Edna) Berg of Syracus, UT; and Deb (Brian) Liby of Bonaire, GA; and his two loving dogs, Sadie and Rollie. He was preceded in death by his father and an uncle Ray Berg.
