Davida "Ann" Brunken, 72, of Jefferson, South Dakota, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Abiding by her wishes, her body has been cremated and no services will be held at this time. Ann was born the daughter of Duane and Evelyn (Bell) Hull on August 3, 1941 in Plainview, Nebraska. She graduated from Las Cruces High School in New Mexico. Ann married Kenneth Brunken on December 14, 1959 in Lynch, Nebraska. They lived for a short time in Bloomfield, Nebraska and Yankton, South Dakota before settling in Jefferson, South Dakota. Ann worked as a financial case manager for the Center for Siouxland for more than 20 years. She was an artist who loved to paint. She enjoyed all hobbies and had many crafts. Ann is survived by one son, Thomas (Jody) Brunken of Jefferson, South Dakota; two brothers; one sister; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; one son, Tony; and one sister.
