Ruby Irene Robinson Towler, 88, former resident of Sioux City, passed July 17, 2013, in Los Altos, CA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Kyle Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Her life journey took her many places, including Jefferson, SD; Morningside, IA where she met and married the love of her life, Ted; Anchorage, AK, where their daughter Suzette was born; and lastly moving to California to eventually settle in Los Altos & Lake Almanor. Ruby was a successful, well-respected real estate broker in the San Francisco Bay Area for 40 years. She was well known for her love of ballroom dancing, and for her integrity, and her warm and caring nature. Left to cherish her legacy of love is her husband of 63 years, Ted Towler; their daughter, Suzette; grandchildren Niki, Mark, and Gigi; her sister, Wanda McCrill, of Akron and her brother, Vernon Robinson, of Le Mars. The way Ruby chose to live life was reflected in her motto "Listen, Love, Laugh, and just never stop dancing!" In lieu of flowers the family requests that a contribution be made in Ruby's name to the charity of your choice.
