Michael J. Cain, 59, of Sandy, Oregon, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Sandy of a sudden massive stroke. Abiding by his wishes, his body has been cremated. Services will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Michael was born the son of Harold and Margaret (Clark) Cain on March 22, 1954 in Sioux City. He graduated from North High School in 1973. He moved to Sandy, Oregon in 1999. Michael worked for Cloverleaf Cold Storage for many years. He enjoyed comic books, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and horse racing. He had a love for dogs, especially mastiffs. Michael is survived by his girlfriend, Sheila Buxton of Sandy, Oregon; three sons, J.P., Craig, and Jarrod; two brothers, Ernie (Debie) Cain of Sioux City, Iowa and Craig Cain of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
