Marion I. "Inis" Crawford, 83, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at a Sioux City Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at Morningside Bible Church with Rev. Terry Emke officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Marion was born January 15, 1930 in Rural Emerson, NE to Conrad and Ruth (Lute) Norr. She graduated from East High School. Marion was married to Gene Crawford on December 31, 1949 in Sioux City. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2011. She worked as a banker for Livestock National Bank. Marion was an avid gardener with a green thumb! Her friends and neighbors enjoyed the fruits of her garden labor. She enjoyed the company of her dog, Lucky, church and children. She was active in the AWANA program and the women's groups at her church. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Andy) Phillips of Hornick, IA; grandson Robert Reed and Fiancée Danae MacDonald of Sioux City; sister Melva (Richard) Janssen of Kingsley; daughter in law Barbara Hardy of Des Moines, IA; her foster daughter Linda Rath of Sioux City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John M. Crawford, granddaughter Danette Crawford, 3 sisters Bernice Boyer, Mae Norr, and Leona Kay and a brother Marvin Lute.
