Doris M. Urbanos

Doris M. Urbanos, of Sioux City, passed away at the Holy Spirit Retirement Home. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Graceland Park Cemetery. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. Memorials will be chosen at a later date. Doris was born in Sioux City to Leonard F. and Mildred J. (Hegstrom) McNaughton. She received her education in rural Woodbury County before moving into Sioux City, where she lived most of her life. She married Henry M. Urbanos. Doris was a hostess at Wonder Bread Bakery and was self-employed as a Tupperware representative before working as a processor at the Social Security Administration, from which she retired. She was a member of M.P.C., a member of the Delta Phi Sorority, and was a past member of Miercoles Social Club. Doris is survived by her son Dennis "Denny" Urbanos and his wife Liz of Omaha and their children Matthew, David, and Adam, and her daughter of Sioux City. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, and brother Delbert McNaughton and his wife Lois.
