Timothy G. Parks

Timothy G. "Tim" Parks, 61, of Westfield, Iowa passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 to 8 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Tim was born the son of Patrick and Marion (Schrader) Parks on August 23, 1951 in Sioux City. He graduated from East High School and Western Iowa Tech. Tim married Susan Parks. He worked for Bob Tagatz Pontiac until 1985 and for Northern Natural Gas until his retirement in 2012. Tim enjoyed woodworking and learning new things about it. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, his dogs, and working on his acreage "Elysium", and Pontiac muscle cars. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Tim's name to Hospice of Siouxland. Tim is survived by his wife, Susan of Westfield, Iowa; his children, Jon (Kari) Wren of Wayne, Nebraska, Joe (Breanna) Wren of Sioux City, Iowa, Patrick (Dawn) Parks of Akron, Iowa, and Alyson Parks of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; three sisters, Patti (Arvin) Berding of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Peggy Maday of Aurora, Colorado, and Paula (Daryl) Rolland of DeKalb, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Mason, Parker, Kirsten, Cody, Charlie, Sydney, Grady, and Josey; and one great grandchild, Dashel. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, LaDonna.
