Bonnie Beatrice Johnson, 96 of Sioux City, mother to Ernie Foster of Hinton, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at a Sioux City Hospital. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Deacon Patricia Roberts leading prayers. Visitation, with family present, will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel prior to the services. Bonnie was born on February 23, 1917 in Claremont, South Dakota to Roy and Nina (Mace) Brown. She married Ernest Fred Foster on September 1, 1934 in Sioux City. Bonnie lived in various cities in California, Arizona, and Missouri, while maintaining a residence in Sioux City since 1984. She was a wonderful mother, and was proud to be a homemaker. Bonnie is survived by her son Ernest "Ernie" J. Foster of Hinton; grandchildren Lori Lynn Daniele and her husband Robert of rural Gainesville, FL, Ernest James "Jim" Foster and his wife Rady of Moore, OK, and Janelle of Kansas City; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Connor, and Riley all of Sioux City, and twin girls, Lily and Mia Foster of Moore, OK; and sisters Shirley Fairbanks of Sioux City, Elda Gunderson of Phoenix, AZ, and Nina Ingenthorne of San Bernardino, CA; and several nephews and nieces. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest, son Edward C. Foster, husband Orville Johnson, daughter-in-law Phyllis B. Foster, and brothers Lester Brown, Orville Brown, Roy Brown, and Kenneth Brown. Casket Bearers for the service will be grandson Jim Foster, nephew Wade Fairbanks, Duane Tobias, Phillip Tobias, Kenneth Viers, and Bill Biggerstaff. Honorary Casket Bearers will be granddaughter Lori Daniele and and her husband Robert, granddaughter Janelle, and nephew Brett Fairbanks.
