Sandra S. Dickman, 70, of Sioux City passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, at a Sioux City hospital, after a brief illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Sandra was born Dec. 11, 1942, in Napa, Calif., the daughter of John and Janice (Wallen) Moore. She was the oldest daughter of 12 children. Sandra was raised by her mother, Janice, and Red Iverson. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools. She graduated from Central High School in 1960. Sandra married Gary W. Dickman May 11, 1963, at St Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. She worked for several years at Security National Bank, and then for 23 years at Center for Siouxland. Sandra was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing board games with her family, traveling and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors included her husband, Gary of Sioux City; three children: Kevin (Jessette) Dickman of Rohnert Park, Calif., Kelly (Kim) Downs of Livonia, Mich., and Krystina Dailey of Sioux City; siblings, Allen (Jackie) Osterholt, Jim (Judy) Moore, Bob (Vicki) Iverson, Betty (George) Leckband, Linda Foster, Tom (Cindy) Moore, Jerry (Rhonda) Moore, Penny Noble, Kathy Moore, and Tim (Deb) Iverson, all of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Janice and Red Iverson; her father, John Moore; and a brother and his wife, Bob and Gloria Moore. Pallbearers will be Austin Dailey, Tim Iverson, Jerry Moore, Tom Moore, Bob Iverson and Jim Moore.
