Todd Delger

Todd M. Delger, 43, of Sioux City, formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013, at his residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. Private family services will be held in Minnesota. His wife will have all details for the arrangements which will take place on Saturday, May 18. Todd was born Nov. 15, 1969 in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of Michael and Deanna (Morin) Delger. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School. Todd served six years in the U.S. Army and was on active duty in the Gulf War. He married Jennifer Fry on March 19, 2010 in Sioux City. Todd worked in customer service for Delta Airlines. He had a great passion for music and Megadeth was his favorite band of all time. Survivors included his wife, Jennifer of Sioux City; children, Ashley Delger of Athens, Tenn., Tyler Fry of Sioux City, and Kaitlynn Delger of Sioux City; his father, Michael Delger and his wife Mary Ann of Sioux Falls, S.D., formerly of Minnesota; his mother, Deanna Thelen and her husband Steve of Stacy, Minn.; brothers, Kyle Delger and his wife Leandra of Isanti, Minn., Adam Delger of Little Canada, Minn., John Jones and his wife Julie of Isanti, Minn., Steve Jones of Minneapolis; and a grandson, Kasen Conine of Athens, Tenn. Todd was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Delger and his grandfather, Lloyd Delger.
