Eileen M. Teska, 92, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Westwood Nursing & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Craig Collison officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Eileen was born the daughter of Andrew and Susie (Kaiser) Cole on April 10, 1921 in Sioux City. She graduated from Cathedral High School. Eileen married Wally Teska on August 3, 1940 in LeMars. Eileen was a Rosie the Riveter in the shipyards during WWII. After her time in San Francisco she returned to Sioux City to raise her family. She was a member of the Rosary Society and the Missouri River Boat Club which Wally helped found. Eileen enjoyed cards, camping, gardening, and playing bingo. She liked to travel to Texas for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and really just enjoyed life. The family would like to thank Westwood Nursing & Rehab Center for the love and care they showed Eileen. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Darla (Rick) Mathieson of Sioux City; one daughter-in-law, Deeann Teska of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; nine brothers and sisters; three sons, Denny, Dean, and Dave; one daughter, Diana; and one grandson, Todd.
