Richard A. Tadlock

Richard A. "Dick" Tadlock, 73, of Sioux City, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2013 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Deacon Patricia Roberts officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Dick was born the son of Leonard and Pearl (Neal) Tadlock on June 5, 1939 in Mapleton, Iowa. He married Judy Bertrand on December 21, 1987 in Sioux City. He was a self employed backhoe operator and a truck driver for many years. He most recently retired as a bus driver for Sioux City Transit. Dick enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He liked to hunt, fish, wood work, and vacation in the Black Hills. Dick is survived by his wife, Judy of Sioux City; two sons, Ty (Shari) Tadlock of Sioux City and Ryan (Jackie) Bertrand of Sioux City; two daughters, Paige Tadlock and Tiffany (Terry) Shults all of Sioux City; one sister, Barb (Ron) Dreamer of Omaha; nine grandchildren, Marissa, Taylor, Garrett, Travis, Trent, Tanna, Kaylee Jo, Carter, and Cole; and two great grandchildren, Taralynn and Charlee Anne. He was preceded in death by his parents.
