Anthony Richard Josta, 35, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. He attended Sioux City schools. Anthony loved to cook. He worked as a chef in various restaurants, most recently at Black Bear Diner. Anthony met and fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Theresa. They had a daughter, Kayla April Treinen. Anthony loved music and his hobbies included playing guitar and drawing. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Kayla April; father, Tony Josta and his fiancee, Christy Stolze; mother, Becky Bucy and her husband, Kit Bucy; three sisters, Jenny and her husband, Matt Handlos, Abby Josta, and Grace Bucy; one brother, Noah Bucy; niece, Kaylee Ann Kruger; nephew, Drake Matthew Handlos; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Judy Somers; paternal grandmother, Shirley Hancock; great-grandmother, Francis Whitt; and many aunts, uncles, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, April Ann Josta; grandfathers, Bill Josta and Bill Hancock; great-grandparents, Lyle and Maebelle Clark and Elmer Whitt. Pallbearers will be Chris Sewalson, Keith Earl Munter, Rich Treinen, Sonny Powell, Brian Sturgeon, and Ray Tucker.
