Kyle A. Gross

Kyle A. Gross, 34, of Ames, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2013. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Kyle was born the son of Albert and Mary (Knodel) Gross on March 16, 1979 in Sioux City. He graduated from Hinton High School and later from Iowa State University with a civil engineering degree. He was currently working on a masters degree in Ames. Kyle was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City. He enjoyed hiking and camping and spending time with his dogs, Sadie and Ginger. Kyle is survived by his mother, Mary Gross of Sioux City; two sisters, Angela (Mark) Roberts of Hinton and Sherie Arens of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert and one brother, Troy.
