Randall Lee Phillips, 60, of Sioux City passed away at his home on Friday, March 22, 2013. There will be a private family Memorial Service held. Burial will be in the Logan Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online Condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com Randall was born on October 30, 1952 in Sioux City to Robert Dean and Bonnie Lee (Smith) Phillips. He graduated from Anthon Otto High School and earned his associates degree from Hawarden College. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married to Barbara Tague on May 3, 1974 in Colorado Springs, CO. Randall served the Sioux City community as a fireman for 37 years. He loved bicycling, being in the outdoors, walking, hiking, camping and traveling. He was a founding member of Siouxland Cyclist Club. He is survived by his wife Barbara Phillips of Sioux City, 2 sons Christopher (Amy) Phillips of Bennington, NE; and Kevin (Ashley) Phillips of Derry, NH; 3 grandchildren, Evan, Ruby and Aiden Phillips; and 2 brothers Greg (Connie) Phillips of Woodland, CA; and Robert (Julie) Phillips of Merrill, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Brian Phillips.
