Edison, who was affectionately known as Eddie, a young man who beat all the odds for twenty one years, was called home by God on February 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with lifelong family friend, Reverend Merrill Muller officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service time. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Eddie was born on October 23, 1991 and lived in Sioux City, Iowa with his family until recently residing at Opportunities Unlimited. His life was fulfilled by adventures unbelievable to a wheelchair bound boy. He was a fishing fanatic and was a member of an elite club named The DieHard Dicks. The club originated from a group of men attending the world's largest ice fishing contest in sub zero temperatures located in Minnesota whereas all of the proceeds were donated to children with disabilities. Obstacles were not an issue when it came to Eddie's determination to climb mountains in Idaho, parasail over the Atlantic Ocean, Jet Ski, and ride fast in the side car of a Harley motorcycle. Eddie was also fond of dirt track racing and demolition derby. Of course, he also assumed the role of the pit crew boss with a wrench in his hand. Eddie was also a singer and drummer in a dream world band with his nieces and nephews. Family and friends were very important to Eddie, and last but certainly not least, Eddie was a notorious flirt whose smile and charm were infectious. Survivors include his parents, Kelly and Tracy Jerdee; Sisters, Angel Treglia, Andi (Shawn) DeBoer, Bubba (Quan Duong) Treglia, and Gumby (Jamie Friedel) Treglia; twin brother, Louie (Haley McNaughton) Jerdee; and nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Kylen, Bohde, Drayden, Cori, Trent, Dain, Evan, Zach, and Charlie. Eddie will be running as fast as he can to join special people waiting for him in heaven including Grandma Sharon Lammers, Grandpa Louie Lammers, Uncle Bud Jerdee, Uncle Billy Jerdee, Great Grandma Jerdee, Cousin Jillian Lammers, and Grandma Pat. The affect Eddie had on people's lives was astounding, but there were also people who touched and inspired him. Special thanks to Aunt DeeDee, Jilly Bean and the office staff at ENT, Kylie McCarthy, Erin Hoffman, and Alyssa Bressler. Pallbearers for the service will be Shawn DeBoer, Jamie Friedel, Quan Duong, Joe Tweet, T-Dog Fink, and Jill Kearney. Eddie ~ We Love You Moore
