STORM LAKE, Iowa | Christine Brock-Henning, 57, formerly of Storm Lake died unexpectedly of natural causes early Sunday morning, Feb. 3, 2013, at Pheasant Ridge residential care facility in Toledo, Iowa. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Christine was born on April 22, 1955, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She grew up and attended school in the Gilmore City, Iowa, area. She was married and had two sons, Tyler and Aaron Brock, who grew up in Storm Lake. She later remarried, moved to Florida and had another son, Austin. In earlier years, she was a licensed LPN. She enjoyed jogging, swimming, tennis, singing, and playing the guitar. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her sons, also for the simple things like chapstick, crayons, Dive chocolates and diet Dr. Pepper. Survivors include three sons, Tyler Brock and his wife, Amy of Sioux City, Aaron Brock and his wife, Kelly of Tusin, Calif., and Austin Henning of Coral Gables, Fla.; five grandchildren, Carter, Aiden, Noah, Cameron, and Bayla Brock; four sisters and their husbands, Rosemary and Richard Hake of Ankeny, Iowa, Joan and Albert Wiuff of Waterloo, Iowa, Patricia and Larry Fevold of Shell Knob, Mo., and Kathryn and Glenn Tulk of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and four brothers, Donald J. Loftus of San Diego, Calif., Jim Loftus and his wife, Patricia of Colorado Springs, Colo., Steve Loftus of Ankeny, and Brian Loftus and his wife, Julie of Blaine, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vivian (Dodd) Loftus; and two brothers, Michael and Thomas.
