Harold T. Moline

July 11, 1923 — January 23, 2013

Harold Trevor Moline, 89, of Sioux City went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at a Sioux City Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Darrin Vick officiating at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Logan Park Cemetery. Harold was born on July 11, 1923 to Silas and Ethel (Horton) Moline in Sioux City. He graduated from Central High School, Sioux City in 1941. He joined the Navy in 1942 and served as an Aviation Metal Smith 1st Class in the South Pacific (New Hebrides). He married Bonnie Mae Myers on August 14, 1945 in Sioux City. He worked as a plumber for Scott Plumbing, Faulk Plumbing, and later opened his own plumbing business, Moline Plumbing. Harold enjoyed golfing, bowling and attending his breakfast club the "ROMEO'S". In his free time, he built model airplanes and ships. He loved helping his children with their many house remodeling projects. He was active in the Lutheran Church and worked with Habitat for Humanity for many years. Harold is survived by his wife Bonnie Moline of Sioux City; 5 children, Nancy (Ron) Bunkers of New Ulm, MN; Janice (Bob) Wesch of Detroit, MI; Joanne (Ivar) Torgrimson of Omaha, NE; Linda (Dan) Mauk of North Platte, NE; and Mark (Mary) Moline of Sioux Falls, SD; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Wenonah Carey, Waneta Meyer, Lola Adcock and son, Garry Moline. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorials be sent to Sioux City Gospel Mission or Habitat for Humanity.
