Torey Manford Wickey "Booboo", 21, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Heartland Community Baptist Church, 3601 Country Club Blvd, with Reverend Gene Stockton officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 to 8 P.M. and a prayer service at 7 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Torey was born the son of Marie Wickey on September 2, 1991 in Sioux City. He graduated from West High School in 2009 and attended Kirkwood Community College for one year. Torey had been working for Rocktenn for the past three months. He was excited to find a job that he really enjoyed. Torey loved spending time with his family and friends and had a passion for motorcycles, cars, four wheelers, stereos, and anything with a motor. He had a special way of connecting with everyone individually. He was like a father and role model for his brothers and continually pushed them to be better people. Torey was the rock of the family and will be greatly missed for his guidance and support of everyone in the family. He had big hopes and dreams and always had a plan to achieve his goals. Torey and his friends, Dominique Nok and Matthew Dean, will be greatly missed by many. His family would like to express their deepest sympathies to the families of the other victims. Torey is survived by his mother, Marie Wickey of Sioux City; three brothers, Terrell Wickey, Curtis Wickey, and Tre Wickey-Rahman all of Sioux City; four sisters, Tessa Wickey of Sioux City, Raynell Delaughter of Louisiana, Kim Love of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Monee Love of Osceola, Arkansas; his grandparents, Joel and Pearl Harrison of Sioux City and Clara Branch of Sioux City; his girlfriend, Allysen Pierce of Sioux City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
