Alex Kott

Alex Kott of Sioux City passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. Thomas Orthodox Church with Father Lucas Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-7 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Orthodox Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. He after graduating from high school he earned his law degree from Columbia University. Al worked most of his life as a livestock buyer. He loved watching cows, doing finances and numbers, feeding his chickens, taking care of his dog Buddy and he always loved to sit down for a good meal. Al is survived by his 2 sisters Alice Sailors of Sioux City, and Helen Keller of Allentown, PA and several nieces and nephews.
