Dorothy M. (Jonnie) Foland, 93, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Dorothy was born on October 15, 1918 in Sioux City to William and Helen (Wise) Green. She attended Sioux City Schools. She was married to Gerald W. Foland in 1941 in Everett, Washington; he preceded her in death on July 14, 1987 in Sioux City. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons Mike (Linda) Foland of Sioux City; Gary (Susan) Foland of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Amy (Eric) Carlson; Cindy (Joe) Whitaker and Andrew Foland, and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Cathy, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
