E. Margaret Boe

E. Margaret Boe (the former Margaret Pedersen), 94 of Downers Grove, IL passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012. A private graveside service will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements. Margaret was born in Sioux City on November 7, 1917. She graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1935. Margaret continued her education by attending the National Business Training School, and Western Iowa Tech. She married Anthony "Tony" Boe in Albany, Oregon on January 2, 1943. Margaret was employed as an office nurse for a local dermatologist and was the Secretary-Bookkeeper for Carpenter's Local 948 for twelve years. She was a proud member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Margaret is survived by her daughter Barbara Rodriquez, of Downers Grove, IL; son Gary Boe of Omaha, NE, grandson Michael Mertz; and great grandsons Colton Johnson and Addison Mertz. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Tony, sister Lillian Luebben, and granddaughter Christy Johnson.
