Ann K. Anderson

Ann K. Anderson, 95, of Sioux City passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:30 pm. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. R. Paul Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday one hour prior to service time at the church. Ann was born on March 14, 1917 in Akron, Iowa to John G. and Johanna (Neilson) Moller. She attended Akron schools and received her beautician certification from LeMars Beauty College. She was married to Major William Anderson in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1986 in Sioux City. Ann owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years in Sioux City. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and was a wonderful cook and baker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and 50 plus yr. Member of The Daughter's of the Nile and The Eastern Star. Ann is survived by her 2 son's, Doug Anderson of Sioux City; Bill Anderson of Iowa City, IA; a brother Robert (Velma) Moller of Hawarden, IA; and 2 sister-in-laws Lillian Moller of LeMars, IA and Cecilia Moller of Huxley, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 4 brothers, John, Gerhard, Henry and Richard Moller.
