Margaret "Peggy" Frazier, (Mah'piya Wakan Win), 62, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. A Funeral service will be on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Ron Thomas officiating. Following the service in Sioux City, a wake for Peggy will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Oyate Oyanke Center in Santee, NE and continue until Sunday at 2:00 p.m., when a second ceremony will take place at the center. Burial will be in the Congregational Cemetery in Santee, NE. Peggy was born on November 2, 1949 in Niobrara, NE to Louis LeRoy and Ramona Frazier. She devoted her life to raising her children. She enjoyed sewing, making Native American Regalia with her youngest son, playing video games, helping others and spending quality time with her family. She is survived by her 3 children Lynn (Mike) Wiese of Lincoln, NE; Michael Frazier of Sioux City; and Kevin Frazier of Sioux City; 4 grandchildren; 3 brothers Tracy Fields of Lincoln, NE; Jeremiah Frazier of Sioux City; and Donald LeRoy of Omaha, NE; and a sister Carol (Alan) Starr of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert.
