James M. Roberts

James M. Roberts, 70, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Episcopal Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson-Berger Funeral Home. Jim was born Oct. 27, 1941, in Sioux City, the son of Carl and Donabelle Roberts. Survivors include a brother, Vernon (Pat) Roberts of Sioux City; a sister, Kay (Jim) Svobodny of Mankato, Minn.; Jim's special friend, Bonnie Arnswald, and her children Sherry Chelette, Danny (Kim) Deavult, Robin Giedd and Wade Arnswald, and grandchildren Ryan, Lori, Desiree, Grant and Rick; and many nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Myrna Lundgren.
