Robert Charles Dunne

Robert Charles "Bob" aka "Big Eye" Dunne, 72, of North Sioux City passed away from natural causes Saturday, June 30, 2012, doing what he loved, driving truck. Abiding by his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 119, North Sioux City, S.D., 57049. Bob was born on March 25, 1940, in Artesian, S.D., to James E. and Mildred E. (Welch) Dunne. Bob met Leona Jensen of Delmont, S.D. They were married on May 26, 1958. From their love, they had five children. In his free time, he liked spending time at the off-track betting and with his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Leona; two sons, Rick and his wife, Donna, and Darwin Dunne; two daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Raleigh Beavers, and Julie and Joe Bufalo; six grandchildren, Nicole Beavers, Amber Dunne, Tabitha Kratz, Derick Dunne, Blake Dunne, and Blaine Dunne; eight great-grandchildren, Madisen Kratz, Konner Lourens, Kaleb Dunne, Graceigh Kratz, Kaden Lourens, Kylie Dunne, Kenadie Kratz, and Cassius Kratz; and two sisters, Berta Mann and Sharon Murray, both of Colorado. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Dunne; his parents; a brother, Denny Dunne; and a sister, Barb Walters.
