Anita Morey

Anita Morey, 55, Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. Funeral services for Anita will be on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Rev. Kenny Hsu officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Anita was born April 5, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to Marvin LeRoy and Anita (Bartelt) Wayman. She graduated from Allen High School and obtained her RN degree from WITT. She was united in marriage to Mike Morey Sr. on November 10, 1976 in Dakota City, NE. Anita enjoyed Facebook and playing Farmville. She also enjoyed crafts, reading, crossword puzzles, spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and making everyone smile. She also enjoyed traveling to visit with family. She is survived by her husband Mike Morey Sr. of Sioux City; daughter Wanita (Roger) Lane of South Sioux City; son Michael Jr.(Stephanie) Morey of Sioux City; and a daughter Michelle Morey and Significant other Michael; and 8 grandchildren Christopher Jones, Marcus Lane, Travis Jones, Jacob Switzer, Michael Siebens, Lynzee Siebens, Autumn Morey, Shaylee Siebens and a great grandson Adrian Jones. She was preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers Jeff Wayman and Marvin Jr., and twin sisters Jean and Jane.
