SIOUX CITY -- Lawrence "Larry" Feller, 70, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 5, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dan Guenther officiating. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Oyens, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Larry was born October 4, 1941, in Harrold, S.D., the son of Andrew and Lilla (Carroll) Feller. He graduated from Howard High School in 1959 and attended St. Benedict College and South Dakota State University. He married Sharon Yunginger on November 25, 1961, in Howard, S.D. The couple made their home in Le Mars, Iowa, before moving to Sioux City. Last year, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Larry worked for AY McDonald for 15 years and Chemical Sanitizing Systems for 25 years before retirement. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Feller of Sioux City; four sons, Tim and wife Vicky of Humboldt, Tenn., Mike and wife Jan of Le Mars, Joel and wife Julie of Urbandale, Iowa, and Mark of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Abbey, Zach, Ashleigh, Brandon, Kyle, Katie, Jack and Ellie; three sisters, Kathy Lagge and her friend Del Roemer, Lila Feller, and Alice and her husband Myron Johnson; two brothers, Rick Feller, and Dan and his wife Rita Feller; and a brother-in-law, Wally Jacobson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Jacobson; a brother, Raymond Charles Feller; and parents, Andrew and Lilla Feller. Pallbearers will be Wally Jacobson, John Lee, Tim Chance, Jim Yunginger, Dan Yunginger and Scott Yunginger. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry's grandchildren, Abbey, Zach, Ashleigh, Brandon, Kyle, Katie, Jack and Ellie Feller.
