SIOUX CITY -- Gerald "Al Jolson" Goulette, 84, of Sioux City died Monday, April 2, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Al was born on December 9, 1927, in Sioux City, the son of Charles and Lillian Goulette. Al was a lifelong Sioux City resident. He had worked for Cudahy's, Armour and Co., and Swift Packing Plants. He entertained around town in bars, playing his ukulele. He also enjoyed drawing pictures and calendars. There are no known relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ernest Goulette.
