SIOUX CITY -- Bobby Rex George Wilkinson, 55, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 26, 2012, at his residence. Per his wishes, the body will cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating, at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Bob was born on September 14, 1956, in Sioux City, to Cora L. Wilkinson. He graduated from West High School. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and worked for Green Valley Golf Course and FIMCO. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandniece, Mia, who always made his eyes light up. He will be fondly remembered for his joke telling and making people laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, especially his friends at Centennial Manor in Sioux City. He is survived by his brother, Jim Marshall of Sioux City; niece, Amber Wilkinson of Sioux City; grandniece, Mia Ann Schroeder of Sioux City; and other family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora.
